The Campaign

 

Our ‘Eddie The Eagle’ campaign was the first International campaign for Fox international, creating personalised .Gifs for Twitter in multiple languages. Users engaging with the #EddieTheEagle hashtag could be curated and selected to receive a personalised .Gif incorporating their tweets into one of 3 different assets, sent as a direct reply.

 

How It Worked

20th Century Fox’s various international social media teams logged into the online EchoMany Platform Dashboard, which links into their official Twitter accounts via API. Each territory had it’s own unique log-in and could track just their territories Tweets.

Tweets with the #EddietheEagle hashtag are automatically pulled through to the territories dashboards via live-stream or advanced search.

The various 20th Century Fox social media teams could hand select which Tweets they wanted to receive a personalised reply, and generate their EchoMany video live and in real time

Each video is dynamically personalised with the users’ @Handle and Tweet – then EchoMany automatically sends the video from the platform dashboard as a native Twitter reply.
