For their Spring menu release, EchoMany worked with Pizza Express to develop their “Pick a Passata” game. In each restaurant were CTAs, in the form of a scannable Facebook Messenger QR code printed on a flyer placed on each restaurant table. These direct diners to their instant win giveaway and an an additional Prize Draw to win a holiday to Italy.
How It Worked
Visitors in-restaurant are directed to scan the Messenger QR code found on printed flyers on each table, to enter an instant win competition for free doughballs along with a prize draw to win a holiday.
The Bot launches, and asks the user to select one of nine Passata tins, under which some naughty escaped doughballs might be hiding. This option is offered as a button carousel, with accompanying images & GIFs
The goal, through three selections, is to find three doughballs under the nine passata tins. Upon successfully completing the game, users automatically receive a personalised video letting them know whether they’re a winner. Each video has their name and profile picture dynamically embedded into it.
Entrants are also delivered a link to a landing page, where they can enter their details to join the Pizza Express mailing list and thereby enter a larger prize draw to win a holiday to Italy.
