Cancer Research UK utilised EchoMany as part of their Race For Life #PinkArmy awareness, acquisition and retention strategy. The EchoMany campaign was designed to monitor the #PinkArmy, #PrettyMuddy and #RaceForLife hashtags in order to send personalised “Thank you!” replies to their fundraisers. There were 4 unique video templates available in our EchoMany platform, each one ready to be dynamically personalised.
This was a curated campaign, so the ‘Race For Life’ team streamed Twitter content live on the EchoMany platform dashboard and hand-selected which Tweets to reply to, along with being able to edit the personalised video copy and reply Tweet copy.
How It Worked
The first video thanked volunteers for signing up for Race for Life, and was sent in response to users Tweeting that they planned to run in a ‘Race For Life’ event. These included the users’ name, profile picture and their Tweet text embedded into a version of the TV advert.
The second thanked volunteers for completing the race, and dynamically incorporated the users’ name, profile picture and a posted photograph.
The third was the same again, but was specific to those competitors entering Pretty Muddy races.
The fourth and final video was special, in that Race For Life could manually enter a volunteer’s fundraising total if they had shared this online. This was embedded along with their name and profile picture as a special Thank You message.
